Amboseli National Park Entry Fees : July 2022 – December 2024 : Amboseli national park is a great wildlife destination and true wilderness in Kenya located in southern Kenya about 4-hour drive south east of Nairobi, Amboseli national park is the second popular national park in Kenya famously known for the majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro found in Tanzania and the tallest free standing mountain in Africa.
Amboseli national park is under the administration of Kenya Wildlife Authority an body responsible for overlooking the administration of Kenya’s protected areas, Kenya wildlife Authority has released new park fees for Amboseli national park effective from July 2022 and valid Up to December 2024.
Park Entry Fee
Visitors of Amboseli national park are supposed to pay an entrance fee on a daily basis, park entrance fees are valid for 24 hours.

Important notes
- Categories or status of tourists to Amboseli national park
Visitors to Amboseli national park are categorized as students, children, residents and Non – residents, these fees are used when charging park fees to each and every individual trying to access the park.
- Students
To be categorized as students, one has to be visiting the park on a Kenya safari organized by an education institution that is college, secondary , university or institution and visiting the park for research and study purposes. Students are supposed to be aged from 3 years to 23 years.
To be eligible to student fees, the education institution is required to send a letter to Kenya wildlife services informing them about their visit in 2 weeks time prior to the safari.
- Children
Children are visitors from 3 years but below the age of 18 years
- Citizens
Visitors categorized as Citizens are individuals with citizenship in Kenya or any of the East Africa community countries that is Uganda, Tanzania, south Sudan, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo, Citizen Visitors are required to present valid national IDs and passports of their respective countries.
- Residents
Visitors categorized as residents are foreign visitors working and staying in Kenya, residents are required to present their valid residence documents and work permits which are issued by the government of Kenya.
- Non- residents
Visitors categorized as Non- residents are international visitors with no working permits and residence in Kenya.
