Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Kenya Safari and Beach
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Samburu Game Reserve
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to Wilson Airport where you will board a light aircraft flight to Samburu Game Reserve.
Note: if you arrive in the afternoon or evening, you will spend the first night in Nairobi and fly to Samburu the following.
On arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your camp, settling in for lunch. In the afternoon, head out on a game drive. Return to the camp for dinner and sundowners.

Day 2-3: Explore Samburu National Reserve
Spend the day on safari in Samburu National Reserve, after breakfast you will head to the reserve for a full day game drive – morning and afternoon game drives.
Samburu National Reserve’s remote, pristine wilderness of palm groves and riverine forest sprouting in dry ecosystems make it one of the most magnificent landscapes north of Mount Kenya. There are several wildlife species roaming its vast expanse, and tranquil ambiance blankets this wildlife haven. The reserve is home to the rare and unique five northern species, including the Grevy zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated giraffe, Gerenuk and Beisa Oryx. Other animals to lookout for include predators like lion, cheetah, and leopard as well as hippos and numerous antelopes. In the evening, you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, bid farewell to Samburu National Reserve and be transferred to the airstrip and board a light aircraft to the Masai Mara and your next camp. Enjoy lunch at your lodge after check, before heading out on a game drive. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5-6: Explore Masai Mara
These two days are dedicated to explore the iconic Masai Mara, one of the most diverse species of African wildlife and is a playground of the annual wildebeest migration “Great Migration” which typically takes places between July to mid-September and invo lves the wildebeests making dangerous crossings through the crocodile-infested Mara River.
In the comfort of your safari vehicle, you will enjoy excellent sightings of several animals including the Big Five – lion, leopard, cape buffalo, elephants and rhinos. Other animals to lookout for include zebras, gazelles, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes and several colourful bird species.
In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Fly to Diani Beach
After a delicious breakfast, bid farewell to Masai Mara and drive to the airstrip and board a light aircraft flight to Nairobi, connecting onwards to the Diani coastline and your gorgeous beach hotel. Settle in for the rest of the afternoon.

Day 8-9: Beach Relaxation
Spend these two days enjoying the beach Diani Beach. There is a wide array of activities you can do such as exploring marine line and enjoying water spots on snorkelling and scuba diving experience, boat trips and dolphin and whale watching. You can also try a hand at kitesurfing, windsurfing, or even skydiving. For those interested in wildlife, Shimba Hills National Reserve is a short distance away.
Day 10: Departure
Today is the final day at leisure on Kenya’s Coast. Today, you will be collected from your hotel in time for your return light aircraft flight to Wilson, Nairobi. On arrival, you will be taken to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight arrangements.
