Detailed 12 Days Kenya Tanzania wildlife Safari
Day 1: Arrival.
On the first day your Kenya safari, your safari guide from Focus East Africa Tours will pick you up and welcome you from Kenyatta International Airport. He will brief you about the safari and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will enjoy the scenic drive down the floor of the Rift Valley. Arrive and check in at your lodge in time for lunch.
After lunch you will enjoy the game drive, and for travelers, the biggest attractions are white rhinos and the seasonal lesser and greater flamingos, which can be found during some times, and then viewing various bird species is optional, as is enjoying the thrilling boat cruise on Lake Nakuru. Return to the lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Masai Mara, arrive, check in, and enjoy lunch. After lunch go for the game drive to search for the incredible wildlife in the reserve. Later, drive back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve.
After breakfast, you will have a full day of game viewing in Masai Mara with either a picnic lunch or a drive back for lunch at the lodge with the option of the Maasai village tours in the afternoon. Later, return back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Serengeti with your lunch boxes; as you exit the lodge, you will have en-route game viewing. You will reach the Isebania border after customer formality and acquire a Tanzania visa and proceed to Serengeti with en-route game viewing. Later on, arrive at your tented camp for leisure, dinner, and overnight.
Day 6 and 7: Full day in Serengeti National Park.
You will have two full days in Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, you will proceed with the game viewing in Serengeti with a picnic lunch or drive back to the lodge for lunch. You will search for the big five mammals (lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard, and elephant), among many others. Later, drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then begin your journey while driving in central Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch and then a stunning game drive en route. Drive and arrive at your lodge for leisure, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 9: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park.
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge, and then enjoy the crater tour, and then drive to spot the numerous wildlife, and then drive back to your lodge for lunch, and later check out. In the afternoon you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park and arrive, check in, relax, enjoy dinner, and have an overnight stay.
Day 10: Karatu to MtowaMbu to Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast, you will enjoy breakfast and drive to Mto wa Mbu for a morning cultural visit followed by lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive inside the park. After that, you will proceed driving to Tarangire National Park in the evening, then check in to your lodge for leisure, dinner, and overnight at your lodge.
Day 11: Tarangire National Park to Arusha.
After breakfast, you will have the best Tanzania Safari experience in the park with a picnic lunch. Later you will drive to Arusha and then arrive in time for dinner, check-in, and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 12: Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport.
After an early breakfast, depending on your flight time, you will check out from your hotel and then be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will catch your flight back home that will bring your safari to an end.
