Day 1: Nairobi city tour 

  • Nairobi city tour: On the 1st day of 2 Days Nairobi city and Nairobi national park safari you are to have a city tour visiting numerous wonderful sites such as David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen Museum, Giraffe centre and Kazuri bead center. After morning breakfast you will leave your hotel and head to the city for a tour, on this city you will visit many sites which will make your experience worthy.

Nairobi City Tour

  • David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage: When you visit David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage for sights of elephants, David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage offers a home and rehabilitation to rescued elephants and at the orphanage you will be able to take part in feeding baby elephants and learn more about conserving elephants. 
  • Karen Blixen Museum: Karen Blixen Museum in Nairobi is situated at the foot of Ngong hills in a distance of 10 kilometers outside Nairobi city centre, the museum is built in a colonial architectural style and is famed for featuring in the out of Africa film. At this museum you will learn more about Karen’s Blixen’s life in Kenya as portrayed in the autobiographical book.
  • Giraffe centre: Giraffe centre in Nairobi is situated in a distance of 40 minutes in the city centre in Lang’ata, this centre was established to protect endangered giraffes in East Africa. In this centre tourists get to participate in feeding giraffes from raised observation platforms and also enjoy sights of warthogs living in the centre.
  • Kazuri bead center: Kazuri bad centre in Nairobi is a top art centre in Nairobi dealing in various pottery and beads art pieces, while on your visit in this centre you will enjoy amazing beads, pots and many more, You also get to buy these souvenirs. While visiting these centers you will have lunch and at the end of the day you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

When you arrive in the park you will go for a game drive on which you will enjoy spotting a variety of animals such as buffalo, giraffe, lion, cheetah, impalas, wildebeest, hyenas, black rhinos, zebras, elands, and many bird species such as ostrich, black headed heron, blacksmith lapwing, common moorhen, long-tailed fiscal, lesser kestrel, corncrake, helmeted guinea fowl and many more. After the experience you will have lunch and then exit the park heading back to Nairobi city, you will then be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your departure flight.
