Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Volcanoes national park
Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes national park: Upon your arrival in Kigali on day 1 of 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla trekking safari, you will be picked from the airport by your safari driver who is our company representative. Meet and greet and then set off on a transfer to volcanoes national park. When you arrive in the park, you will proceed to the park headquarters to pick up your gorilla trekking permit after which you will proceed to check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge .
Accommodation option: Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury)/ Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Midrange)/ Kiningi Guest House (Budget).

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Rwanda gorilla trekking: On the 2nd day of 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla trekking safari, you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast then head to the headquarters of volcanoes national peak for briefing about mountain gorilla trekking. In the briefing, a ranger will take you through rules and regulations to follow on this gorilla trekking experience, you will also be assigned a gorilla family to trek together with other trekkers with a maximum number of 8 person per gorilla group. You will then head into thee forests of volcanoes national park for mountain gorilla trekking. Mountain gorilla trekking takes about 3-7 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and trekking speed of the slowest person in the group. You have to go with your packed lunch and enough drinking water. When you find the gorillas you will spend 1 hour in the presence of the gorillas while taking pictures and observing their behavior such as taking care of their young ones, picking fruits, feed, breastfeed and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge as above at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury)/ Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Midrange)/ Kiningi Guest House (Budget) while on your Rwanda Safari.

Day 3: Drive back to Kigali
Drive back to Kigali city: On the last day of your safari, you will have early morning breakfast at your lodge, checkout and embark on a 2-3 hours’ drive back to Kigali city. In Kigali you will have a city tour visiting sites like Kigali genocide memorial Centre, Kimironko market, Craft shops and many more. After city tour, you will have lunch and then be dropped off at your respective drop-off location either at a hotel or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
