This safari starts and concludes in the town of Arusha.
Day 1 : transfer from Arusha to Tarangire national park.
After an early breakfast on the first day of the safari, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha town, meet your safari guide, who will introduce himself and give you an overview of the safari, and then set out to see Tarangire National Park. A great habitat for wildlife, Tarangire National Park is home to a wide variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, dik-dik, impala, cheetahs, waterbucks, and primates like olive baboons.
It is the third largest national park in all of Tanzania. It takes three to four hours to drive from Arusha town to Tarangire National Park. Once there, you will settle into your lodge, have lunch and then do an afternoon wildlife drive. Many animals can be seen swarming the Tarangire River during the wildlife drive. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Tarangire national park to Serengeti national park.
On the second day of your safari, you will rise early for breakfast, check out of your accommodation and set out to drive to Serengeti National Park. The drive will take you five to six hours, during which time you will have an en route game drive. You will check into your lodge, have lunch and then drive to the park for an afternoon game drive if you arrive at the park in time for lunch.
The well-known Serengeti National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, zebras, and wildebeests. During the yearly migration of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and other animals, you can observe a variety of animals on the park’s grassland plains while on a game drive. After the game drive you will go back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3 : Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro crater.
After checking out of your lodge and having breakfast in the morning on the third day of your safari, you will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will have a game drive as you leave the park and travel four hours to reach the Ngorongoro Crater.
Once there, you will settle into your lodge, have lunch and then embark on an afternoon game drive inside the crater. On a game drive, you will enjoy witnessing the many species that call the Ngorongoro Crater home, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After the game drive you will go back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 4 : Transfer back to Arusha.
During your early morning game drive on the fourth day of the safari, you will have the chance to spot a variety of species, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, and many more. You will start the day with an early breakfast.
After the wildlife drive, you’ll make your way back to your lodge, have lunch, check out and then begin the drive back to Arusha. Your safari will come to an end when you are dropped off in Arusha at the hotel or the airport.
