Detailed itinerary of 5 Days Arusha, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari
Day 1 – Arusha to Arusha National Park
You will be picked from your hotel in Arusha at 08:30 am after breakfast and depart for Arusha national park for game viewing experience, Arusha national park is situated at the base of Mount Meru thus being a great destination for hiking. The park comprises of a range of habitats include forest which is a home to the black and white colobus monkeys and many birds, there are lakes hosting flocks of flamingoes.
During the game drive you will enjoy sightings of many animals including giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingo, elephant, bushbuck and many other African animals.
You will have picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites in the park, then continue with exploring the park. In the evening you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Arusha to Serengeti
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Serengeti national park on a drive of 240 kilometers covering about 6 hours. Serengeti national park named after a local Masai word “Serengeti” meaning endless plains cover an area of 14,763 square kilometers featuring grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see and eventually merging with the sky at the horizon which is absolutely breathing view.
Serengeti national park hosts all the members of the big 5 Animals – lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos. The park supports the greatest remaining concentrations of plains in Africa and hosts the Great Migration.
You will arrive in the park in time for lunch at your lodge after checking in, in the afternoon you will for a game drive exploring the endless grass plains, you will be rewarded with sights of lions, Masai giraffes, wildebeests, elands, warthogs, leopards, cheetahs, Africa wild dogs among others. In the evening, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Serengeti
Have breakfast and head to the park for a full day game drive with your packed lunch, on this day you will explore the park’s Seronera area which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park and features the Seronera River which is a water source to resident animals. During the game drive you will enjoy sights of many animals including prides of lions, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, rhinos, elephants, grey duikers, roan antelopes among others.
Your picnic lunch will be set at one of the picnic sites in the park under a shady fig tree and then continue exploring the park’s endless savannah plains. Continue exploring the park until 5 PM then head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in the plains of Serengeti national park and later depart for Ngorongoro Conservation with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world with 14 kilometers of isolated natural beauty, the crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor is dotted with watering holes, shelters and over 30,000 animals which will be able to see during the game drive.
When you arrive, you will descend to the crater floor for a game drive searching for animals like cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes and many birds such as flamingoes, and white pelicans around Lake Magadi among others. Then head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha
This is the last day of your safari, you will have a leisurely breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive back to Arusha where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your on-ward flight.
