6 days Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Mount Kenya hiking safari is amazing safari experience that takes you to attractive destinations in Kenya offering you the spotting of big five mammals, bird watching, boat cruise in Lake Naivasha, and hiking the highest mountain in Kenya hence giving you the everlasting safari memories.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara.
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will meet our representative and after a brief introduction you will depart for Masai Mara National Reserve on a journey of 4-5 hours through the Great Rift Valley, you will have a stopover at the viewpoint for spectacular view of the escarpments.
Have another stopover in Narok town for an interaction with the locals then proceed to the reserve, arrive in time for lunch which you will enjoy after check –in at the lodge.
Masai Mara National reserve is a significant wildlife conservation and wilderness area renowned for its exceptional populations of Big Cats – lions, leopards and Cheetahs and the Great Wildebeest Migration which has earned the reserve a place among the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa and the seven new wonders of the world.
After a brief rest, you will go for a game drive exploring the reserve and seeing many animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, gazelles and many birds. You will enjoy a magical sunset then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 and 3: Full Day in Masai Mara.
Spend 2 full days of the safari in the endless plains of Maasai Mara National reserve with morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch or lunch at your lodge. On optional you can also visit the Masai Village for a cultural experience.
Full day game drives in Masai Mara National Reserve is an opportunity for you to discover the endless plains of the reserve and know why Masai Mara is a very popular African wildlife safari destination.
Masai Mara national reserve and its amazing ecosystem supports millions of animals including zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, impalas, elands, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, hartebeests, lions, waterbucks and several species of gazelles and many birds which you will enjoy spotting during the game drives.
If you are seeking to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, the best time to visit Masai Mara is between July and October, you will spot 2 million wildebeests, gazelles and zebras migrating from Serengeti plains in search for water and fresh pasture.
On your visit to the Masai village, you will have experience their fascinating culture and tradition activities including livestock rearing, be entertained by local dances and drama, and interact with the locals among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park with magnificent views of the Great East African Rift Valley.
Lake Nakuru National Park is the best destination in Kenya to see the endangered rhinos (both black and white rhinos) and the endangered and rare Rothschild Giraffes and huge populations of flamingoes found on the shores of Lake Nakuru.
When you arrive in the park, you will enjoy lunch after check – in at the lodge and rest for a while. Then go for an afternoon game drive in search for rare black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, leopards, lions, cape buffaloes, zebras, olive baboons, hyenas, waterbucks among others. You will also drive along Lake Nakuru – a Salt Lake you will see many water birds such as lesser and greater flamingoes, cormorants, Herons, Egrets, pelicans, spoonbills, ducks and kingfishers among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Naivasha.
Have early breakfast, checkout of the lodge and head to Lake Naivasha with en-route gam drive. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful rift valley freshwater lake situated close to Hell’s Gate National Park, on arrival you will head to the lodge for check-in and lunch.

In the afternoon, you will take a leisurely boat trip across the beautiful lake heading to Crescent Island. On the cruise you will see crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks and many water bird species including herons, cormorants among others.
After the boat cruise, you will go for a nature walk on the Crescent Island get a closer encounter with giraffes, zebras, colobus monkeys among others. In the evening, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Mount Kenya for hiking and departure.
On the last day of 6 days Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Mount Kenya hiking safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast and meet your guide and transfer to Mount Kenya in Mount Kenya National Park. Begin the hike in the company of your guide trekking across the rainforest zone of Mount Kenya. You will get a chance to spot some animals such as antelopes, black and white colobus monkeys, hyraxes, and buffalos among others. Enjoy views of the towering Batian, Nelion, and Lenana peaks from the slopes of Mt Kenya. You will bird species like ducks, grouse, pigeons and doves, turacos, herons, egrets, and bee-eaters.
At around 1200 hours, shortly after reaching the Meteorological Station, you will return to the Naro Moru gate traversing the bamboo forest on your way down, reaching the gate at around 2 pm in the afternoon. It is here at the gate that you will enjoy your packed lunch then finally head back to Nairobi town, a short journey that takes approximately a three-hour drive. After embark on a drive back to Nairobi where the safari ends with drop-off either at the hotel or at the airport for a departure flight back home.
