Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Volcanoes national park
On the arrival in Rwanda using Kigali international airport you will be picked up by your safari driver, he will shortly brief you about the 6 days Rwanda Kenya safari then set off a drive heading to Volcanoes national park which is a drive of about 3 hours. When you arrive in the park, you will check into your lodges and have an evening of resting then have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking
Have breakfast at your lodge then transfer to volcanoes national park for a mountain gorilla trekking experience which begins with a briefing sessions at the park’s headquarters, in the briefing your safari driver will take you through the rules and regulations to follow while in the presence of mountain gorillas, be assigned a gorilla group to trek and then head into the forests in search for mountain gorillas.
Searching for mountain gorillas takes about 3-4 hours and you are assigned by a game ranger who know better where to find them, after finding the gorillas you are allowed to stay in their presence for only hour and in this hour you are to observe their fascinating behavior and take pictures with your flashlight off. Then head back to the park’s headquarters, meet your safari driver and head back to your lodge or go for an optional community visit. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Drive back to Kigali
Have breakfast at your lodge then check out and embark on a journey to Kigali, on your way you will scenic sights of rolling hills and when you arrive in Kigali you will catch your flight transferring to Nairobi, upon arrival you will have lunch then embark on a city tour in Nairobi. In Nairobi you visit a number of tourist centers such as Nairobi Museum, Giraffe centre and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Transfer to Masai Mara and evening game drive
Have breakfast at your hotel then embark on a 3-4 hours heading to Masai Mara national reserve. When you arrive you will check into your lodge, have lunch and in the evening you will head for an evening game for sighting of the big five such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, rhinos and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: full day game drive
Have early breakfast at your lodge then head to the endless plains of Masai Mara national reserve for full day of game viewing on game drives that is morning game drive and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch. On these game drives you will have a grand opportunity to spot a variety of animals residing in Mara plains such as elephants, leopards, lions, wildebeests, rhinos, hyenas, giraffes, antelopes, Masai giraffes and many more birds. At lunch you will have picnic lunch and then head for another game drive. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.
Day 6: departure
Have breakfast at your lodge at your own peace then checkout of your lodge and embark on a journey heading to Nairobi which marks the end of 6 days Kenya Rwanda safari, when you arrive in Nairobi you will be dropped off the airport for your flight back home.
