7 Days Northern Tanzania Family Safari Adventure : This Tanzania safari of 7 days is a family safari package designed for family visitors seeking for an adventure to enjoy as a family.
On this tour, you will explore the most spectacular wildlife -viewing destinations in Northern Tanzania, you will start your safari in Arusha City and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park popularly known for tree climbing lions and Lake Manyara which is home to a huge flock of pink flamingos.
Head to Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact and unfilled crater in the world and home to a huge population of wildlife. Your safari ends in the iconic Serengeti National Park where you will enjoy excellent sightings of various animals including the Big Five.

DETAILED ITINERARY OF 7 DAYS NORTERN TANZANIA FAMILY SAFARI ADVENTURE
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and be transported to Arusha City. Check in at your lodge and spend the evening resting, recovering from the jet lag. Have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2 – 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Northern region of Tanzania heading to Lake Manyara National Park which is described as “the loveliest I have ever seen” by Ernest Hemingway.
Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for being home to the tree – climbing lions and the beautiful Lake Manyara which is one of the rift valley lakes in Tanzania, the lake is home to a huge concentration of pink flamingoes along the shores of the lake and many other birds such as Black heron · Glossy ibis · Little bee-eater · Martial eagle · Silvery-cheeked hornbill among others.
During the two days stay in Lake Manyara National Park, you have great photography opportunities, have a game viewing experience enjoying sights of animals like tree climbing hippos, elephants, leopards among others.
Also, visit the Masai Village to learn about their unique customs and cultures, participate in livestock rearing, making of the kraal, be entertained by local dances and songs.
Have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After a leisurely breakfast, you will depart Lake Manyara National Park and head to Ngorongoro Crater – the wildlife Eden in Africa. You will have a stopover to meet the Hadzabe Bushmen- the hunter-gathers inhabiting the land surrounding Lake Eyasi, you will be entertained by their traditional way of life, taste some of the local cuisines among others activities through which you will get a deeper insight into the cultures and traditions.
Note: The Hadzabe Bushmen experience is not suitable for children under the age of 12 years. A Mto Wa Mbu Community visit is offered as an alternative.
Proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in late afternoon, head to your lodge on the crater’s rim. Enjoy a family dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5 -6: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, you will embark on a 3 hours game drive in the Ngorongoro crater, the crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the game drive in the crater, you will enjoy seeing many animals including leopards, rhinos, lions, African buffaloes, cheetah, zebras, Thomson’s gazelles, gazelles, jackal, African bush elephants and cheetah among others.
Then proceed to Serengeti National Park with en-route game drive as you head to your lodge with picnic lunch. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
On the next day you will have a full day game viewing experience in the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, after early breakfast you will head to the park for an early morning hot air balloon safari which provides aerial views of the park and the animals.
Note: Hot air balloon safari is only allowed for children of 6 years and above.
During the full day game drive, you will have picnic lunch and enjoy excellent sightings of many animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, elephants, elands, wildebeests, giraffes, African wild dog, gazelles and many birds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure
After a family breakfast at your lodge, you will checkout and embark on a drive back to Arusha City for a drop-off either at the hotel or at Airport for your departure flight ack home.
