Detailed itinerary of 8 days Kenya and Tanzania Combined Safari
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru national park
Picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Lake Nakuru national park, arrive in the afternoon, check into your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive on which you will enjoy sights of giraffes, lions, rhinos, antelopes and a huge concertation of pink flamingoes along the banks of the Lake. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
Depart for Masai Mara national reserve with morning en-route game drive in Lake Nakuru national park, along the way you will have a stopover in Narok for an interaction with the locals and at the Rift Valley View point for spectacular views of the Rift Valley.
Proceed to the reserve arriving in time for lunch which you will enjoy after check-in, in the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive looking for various species of animals inhabiting in Masai Mara national reserve. Have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara
Spend a full day in Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drive or full day game drive with picnic lunch, during the full day of exploring this classic wildlife safari destination you will watch a number of animals including lions, giraffes, wildebeests, elephants, gazelles, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs among others.
Alternatively you can have hot air balloon safari experience in early morning and a visit to the Masai people which are option activities.
Day 4: Masai Mara – Serengeti national park
Depart for Serengeti national park with en-route game drive in the plains of Masai Mara national reserve, heading to Isebania Border where you will cross over to Serengeti national park. Your guide will help you finish all the necessary legalities, then meet our Tanzania guides and the vehicle and proceed to Serengeti national park, you will have en-route and with en-route game drive you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: full day in Serengeti
Spend a full day on game viewing drive as you explore the vast nature endowed wildlife reserve – Serengeti national park, you will do either morning and afternoon game drive or full day game viewing with picnic lunch.
Serengeti national park is most famous for the Annual Wildebeest Migration, the park is also a home to a pride of lions which have been fitted with radio – transmitter collars so that their moves may be tracked. Other animals you spot in Serengeti national park during the game drives include cheetah, zebra, giraffe, Thompson and Grant’s gazelle, Eland, Impala, Klipspringer, Hippo and Warthog among others.

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Depart Serengeti national park with en-route game viewing drive for Ngorongoro Crater – one of the 8th wonders in the world and the world’s largest intact caldera.
Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge then descend to the crater floor of the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing, look out for rhinos, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, hippos and pink flamingoes around the shores Lake Magadi. Ascend to the crater rim where you will catch a glimpse of the most magnificent sunset views in Africa, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Tarangire
After breakfast you will depart for Tarangire national park with en-route sunrise views from the crater rim, when you arrive in Tarangire national park, you will have en-route game drive as you head to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will return to the park for an afternoon game drives giving you a chance to see different types of wildlife inhabiting in the park including giraffe, tree climbing lions, zebras, gazelles, elephants among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Tarangire – Arusha
Have a short morning game viewing drive in Tarangire national park, then proceed to Arusha town for drop off at Kilimanjaro International airport.
