GALDESSA CAMP – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Galdessa camp is a mid- range accommodation found on the southern bank of Galana River in Tsavo East National Park Kenya region. The camp is eco- friendly and perfect for wildlife viewing especially Hippos , elephants and more that come to cool off on the river. The camp is situated 35 minutes away from Mombasa and malindi by air and an hour from Nairobi to the close Manyani airstrip them 30 minutes to be transferred to the camp , it also takes 5-6 hours( 326 km by road from Nairobi city center to the park) .The camp is convenient for tourists since its located in the perfect position overlooking Yatta Plateau , the vast expanse of African bush and herds of animal roaming beneath the camp and galena river while Kenya Wildlife Safaris.
Galdessa camp consists of 12 elegant and comfortable en-suite rooms with the view of the River that are built in African Traditional style with natural materials of grass thatched roof, local woods and a comfortable proximity. Rooms are well furnished and decorated with tranquility and en suite private facilities of flushing toilet , hot and cold showers/bathtubs , mosquito nets, extinguishers, hair driers, free bottled water in the rooms , to mention but a few, Rooms have sitting areas , verandas and private balconies that gives a stunning view of the, wildlife visiting the camp and surrounding areas. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized beds and wooden ceiling fans. The lodge offers campfires where guests relax and share stories , not only that it also provide warmth to visitors in cold days. The camp offers singles, doubles, twins, triples rooming option with different costs ranging from 200$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

Tsavo national park is made of two separate parks located in Kenya Province between Nairobi city and Mombasa, The Park is considered to be among the largest parks in Kenya covering the total area of 22,000km squared. The two different parks in Tsavo national park include; Tsavo east national park which is the oldest and largest park in Kenya found in the semi-arid areas of Taru desert occupying the total area of 13,747 kilometers squared and Tsavo west national park also covers the total area of 9,065 kilometers squared.
The Two park are most visited with different categories of accommodations; Budget, Mid- range and Luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to visitors visiting the park.
