Lenchada Tourist Camp – Masaai Mara National Park : Lenchada tourist camp is a budget accommodation found on Oloolaimutia hills on the boundary of Masaai Mara national park in Kenya. The camp is on of the best budget accommodation located in North West part of masaai mara national park. The camp is convenient and affordable to budget guests who want to explore masaai mara’s wilderness and surrounding areas.
You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Olkiombo airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp.
Lenchada tourist camp consists of 30 spacious and comfortable rooms that can accommodate 60 guests reflecting traditional building styles with grass thatched roofs. Each Tent is well elevated with raised platform and furnished with hot and cold showers, toilets inside , hand wash basins , mosquito nets, Televisions, Wooden Tables and chair , Free bottled water in the rooms and many others. Each tent has a sitting areas and verandas that give a better view over the wilderness and surrounding areas.
Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen sized beds. There are fireplaces at the Lenchada camp that provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals That is single bed, double beds, twin ,and triple beds . They cost 100$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rate.

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania.
Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
