LORIAN SAFARI CAMP –MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Lorian Safari camp is a mid- range accommodation (3 star) found in the heart of the famous Masaai Mara National Park on the banks of olare orok river Kenya region. The camp is close to ol-kiombo airstrip just 10 minutes’ drive. The lodge is convenient and business friendly to guests giving a stunning view of the river and surrounding areas. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Ol- kiombo airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the lodge.
Lorian Safari Camp consists of 8 comfortable stylish en suite tents of which 5 are luxury tents and 3 standard tents overlooking the Hippo Pool offering king twin, doubles, individual beds (single) and family rooming options. Tents reflect traditional building stylish with comfort proximity. Each tent is well elevated with raised wooden platform, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, inside separate hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, Deck chair, Wooden Tables, Free bottled water in the rooms and many others. Each tent has sitting areas and verandas with vanity deck that give great views over the Hippo pool, Mara Plain, game species and surrounding areas. There are cracking fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share more experience about the safaris not only that it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. They cost 150$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rated.
Lorian Safari camp offers more services and facilities which include; A spacious restaurant that serves different cuisines both international ( vegetarians and non- vegetarians) and Kenyan cuisine to meets guests choice ; Buffet breakfast in the bush, picnic lunch and dining areas that serves both in and outdoor diners . A well trained friendly and organized staff that ensures comfort and safety, they also serve bush diners.

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .
The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
