Ekitaguriro dance, Ekitaguriro dance is a dance performed by the Banyankore from Ankole land in the western Uganda, this is performed by women and men they use it to tell stories, communicate vital cultural information and also its done to show the appreciation of their cows. Baakasiimba, Mawogola, Nankasa, It’s a traditional dance that originated from Buganda, this is such interesting story. The dance resulted from Kabaka of Buganda kingdom who was drunk of traditional ‘’omwenge’’ made from ripe bananas, when he danced because of happiness he was then  joined by the people around him then later it came up as a celebratory dance among the Baganda. There is also Mbaga dance in Baganda tribe normally performed by the women who are above 18 years while preparing for the marriage with various teachings about marriage.

Akago dance, this is done by the Iteso people from the Eastern Uganda. It’s performed by the men and women as showing off their stamina while on foot as men make advance moves towards the woman of their choice.

Ancholi traditional dance, Acholi people have got various traditional dances for different occasions and reasons, these are found in the Northern part of Uganda speaking Luo language. Acholi people are the only one with various traditional dances in Uganda that includes the Larakaraka dance, Otole dance and among others.

Agwara dance, Agwara dance is for Lugbara people, these are located in the Northern Uganda, the traditional dance imitates the movement of hunters as they sneak the animals, and the dance is perfomed to young men to join hunting parties.

Edonga dance, this dance is performed by the Karamojong people who live in the North-eastern Uganda, the dance is performed while jumping with the entire weight of the body to high where they signify the enthusiasm and love for their culture and country.

Runyenge Batooro, this is a dance for the Batooro, the dance is performed with the vigor and skill intended to impress the woman of interest to pick out the right man.

Ekizino dance, its performed by the Bakiga people from the southwestern of Uganda in Kigezi, in celebration of their hard work they perform the Kizino dance supported by hand-clapping.
