OLTOME MARA CAMP
Oltome mara camp is considered to be both Budget and mid range safari tented accommodation found deep in the wild ,on the bottom of Nairok hills and just 10 minutes from sekenani gate of Masaai Mara national Park in Kenya. The camp is located in the quiet green leafy bush outside the park and fenced to keep the animals at the bay . You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Keekerok airstrip then 20 minutes to be transferred to the camp. The camp is convenient and affordable to guests who want to see wildlife especially elephants that migrate during dry season (wildebeest migration) and other wildlife plus the natural african beauty of Masaai mara national park.
Oltome mara camp consists of 15 spacious and comfortable tents that reflect traditional building styles of local woods and permanent roofs. Each Tent is well elevated with raised deck and furnished with en-suite facilities like clean flush toilets, hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets , Televisions, Deck chairs, work Decks , Wooden Tables , Free bottled water in the rooms and many others . Each tent has a sitting areas, verandas and private wooden balconies that gives a better view over the wilderness and animals vising the camp.
Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen sized beds with ceiling fans. There are fireplaces at the camp that provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals ; single ,double, twin ,and triple rooms and rooms cost 150$ per night and above during high season rate is always high than in low season rate

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.
The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors . Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July ,August and October .The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
