Rekero Camp – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Rekero Camp is referred to as a mid-range accommodation (3.star) found in the heart of Masai mara national park on the north bank of Talek River in Kenya country. The camp is situated in the perfect position at the wildebeest annual crossing point which gives a chance to guests to spot different wildlife especially the” big game animals”. You can be at the camp by road transport from Nairobi city taking about 4-5 hours’ drive and an hour flying from Nairobi to the close Ol kiombo airstrip then 20 minutes to be transferred to the camp . Rekero Camp consists of 9 elegant and spacious tents including the 2 family tent reflecting Kenyan traditional building style with natural materials of local woods with modern comfort . Rooms are well decorated , elevated with raised platform and furnished with private en-suite facilities like clean flushing toilets, hot and cold showers/Bathtubs , beds wrapped mosquito nets, free toiletries , complementary bottled water satellites, Flat screen TVs , extinguishers, Air conditioning etc.
Each tent has wooden deck/ private wooden balconies and sitting areas, you relax while overlooking Talek river, the plains and wildlife in the reserve . Rooms are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing king and queen sized beds with ceiling fans. There are fireplaces at the camp that provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals ; single ,double, twin ,family rooms and triple rooms and rooms cost 300$ per night and above during high season rate is always high than in low season rate.

Masaai Mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.
The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .
