SANIA SPRING TENTED CAMP-MASAAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
Sania spring tented camp is a mid range accommodation found on the base of Ngama hill on the western edge of Masaai Mara National Park in Kenya. The camp is owned and managed by Oltukai Mara Limited. The camp is set close to sekenani and Ololaimutiek gate that are local landmarks. It is also located in areas of abundance of flora, fauna (greatest wildebeest migration) and attributes culture. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close siana airstrip then few to be transferred to the camp.
Sania spring Tented Camp consists of 40 comfortable and well pointed tents all with wooden decks and park view reflecting traditional building styles with modern comfort .Each tent is well elevated with raised wooden platform, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities of clean private flush toilets, inside hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, Flat screen Televisions, Deck chair, Wooden Tables, Free bottled water in the rooms and many others. Each tent has sitting areas, Private balconies and verandas with vanity deck that give a great views over the wilderness , game species drinking water and surrounding areas. Rooms are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen sized beds.
There are cracking fireplaces at the camp where guests relax and share more experience about the safaris not only that it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The lodge offers tents suitable for family as well as individuals with single bed, double beds, twin, and triple beds. They cost 200$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rated.
Sania Spring Tented camp offers more services and facilities which include; A spacious restaurant that serves global cuisines both international ( vegetarians and non- vegetarians) and Kenyan cuisine to meets guests choice ; English breakfast , picnic lunch and dinning areas that serves both in and outdoor diners . Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .
The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek river.
