The Times Tower in Nairobi, Kenya, commonly known as the New Central Bank Tower, is a workplace. At 140 m (459 ft), it is the fourth tallest building in Kenya, behind Britam Tower, GTC Office Tower, and UAP Tower, which stand at heights of 200 m (656 ft), 184 m (604 ft), and 163 m (535 ft, respectively. It includes 38 stories, a banking facility with seven stories, and an 11-story parking garage with split levels. The building has ten lifts. The building is supported by an earthquake-resistant concrete raft that is between 0.9 and 3.0 m (2 ft 11 in and 9 ft 10 in) thick.

The building’s sole tenant is the Kenya Revenue Authority, which uses it for tax administration and remissions as well as for taxpayer education. Long lines are frequently present outside the building, especially close to the 20th of each month when taxes are due.

All visitors must pass through a metal detector-based screening process as part of the building’s strict security measures. It is constantly strongly protected by armed police officers. To make handling visitors simple, the entry and exit are distinct. A Kenyan ID card or a passport are required for entry into the building above the bottom floor for locals. Unless the visitor leaves his ID documents in place of the visiting staff member, entry without the required documentation is not permitted.

Times Tower

Teleposta Tower

The Teleposta Towers is Nairobi, Kenya’s seventh-tallest structure. In the heart of Nairobi, the structure may be found on Kenyatta Avenue. Its height is 394 feet or 120 metres. Telkom Kenya is housed in the towers, which have 27 stories. The building houses the offices of the Kenyan Ministries of Trade and Information & Communications. The towers’ construction began in 1996 and was finished in 1999. Anthony Gleeson created the design, and Laxmanbhai Construction built it.
