Tipilikwani Mara camp – Mara National Park : Tipilikwani Mara camp is a luxury accommodation found on the bank of Talek River Inside the famous Kenya’s Masaai Mara National Park . The camp is situated on the Eastern border overlooking the Mottled plain of Masaai Mara reserve. You can be at the camp by road or air transport taking approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close ol kiombo airstrip then 40 minutes’ drive to be transferred to the camp.

Tipilikwani Mara camp consists of 20 spacious and comfortable tents overlooking the River front reflecting traditional building styles with Grass Thatched Roofs and modern comfort. Each tent is well elevated with raised platform, decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities like clean private flush toilets, safari style hot and cold showers, dressing tables, mosquito nets, Televisions, Deck chairs, work Decks, Wooden Tables, Free bottled water in the rooms and many others. Each tent has a sitting areas, Private verandas and vanity deck that give a better view over the river , wildlife and surrounding areas.
Tents are equipped with comfortable clean beddings containing queen sized beds. There are fireplaces at the camp that provides warmth to visitors during cold nights. The camp offers tents suitable for family that consists of 2 inter-connecting rooms as well as individuals ie single bed, double beds, twin, and triple beds . They cost 200$ per night and above, during high season rate is always high than in low season rate.

Masaai mara national park is among the largest and most visited park in Kenya know of its incredible density and variety of animals . it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya occupying the total area of 1,510 km squared . There are many over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania.
Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million of animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos and 600 species of bird and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October .
