Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Serengeti Migration Safari
Day 1: Arrival Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, Tanzania, meet your safari guide and transfer to your accommodation for rest and relaxation as you prepare for the adventure a head. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation in Arusha.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park on a journey of approximately 2 hours. Enter the park and embark on your first game drive exploring the diverse landscapes and wildlife, Tarangire National Park is known for its large elephant herds, the iconic baobab trees and unique bird life.
Then enjoy picnic lunch within the park and continue with an afternoon game drive exploring the park more and enjoying scenic views. Dinner and an overnight stay near the park at Mto wa Mbu.

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti (Central Serengeti)
Depart from Tarangire after breakfast and drive to Serengeti National Park, it is a drive of approximately 4-6 hours. Enjoy game drives en route to the Serengeti, witnessing the changing landscapes and wildlife and arrive at the Central Serengeti and embark on an afternoon game drive enjoy seeing several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, herds of wildebeests among others.

Day 4: Central Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring the Central Serengeti renowned for its abundant wildlife and beautiful plains to witness the iconic wildebeest migration (the timing depends on the time of the year). Enjoy game drives and search for predators and other wildlife, lookout for lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, cheetahs, gazelles among others.
You will also visit the Seronera River which attracts a variety of animals flocking the banks to drink water.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to the northern Serengeti which is a drive of approximately 3-4 hours. Here you will experience game drives in the northern region, close to the Mara River, witness the dramatic river crossings of wildebeests and zebras during the migration (timing is dependent on the time of the year) and explore the diverse landscape and abundant wildlife of the area.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Depart from the Serengeti after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with en-route game drive in the Serengeti plains. It is a drive of approximately 3-4 hours, you will also have a visit to the Olduvai Archeological site where fossils of humans have been evacuated by the Leakey Family. You will also visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum where you will see various discoveries being showcased.
When you arrive in Ngorongoro, you will have a game drive around the rim of the crater. Head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, you will head to Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a full day of a game viewing within the crater known for its dense wildlife population, some of the animals to look out for include giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards among others.
You will also visit Lake Magadi at the corner of the crater where you will see flocks of pink flamingoes.
Enjoy picnic lunch within the crater and continue exploring the crater till afternoon. Then transfer to Lake Eyasi, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Lake Eyasi to Manyara
After breakfast, you will start drive to the local community at Lake Eyasi to a cultural experience and spend time with the indigenous Hadzabe Tribe experiencing their unique way of life, hunting techniques and cultural traditions.
After this amazing enriching experience, you will drive back to Lake Manyara where you will arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a game drive in the plains of the park looking for animals like lions, elephants and flamingoes on the shores of the lake. Drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Manyara to Arusha town
After breakfast, you will go for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park looking out for the famous tree climbing lions and diverse birdlife. Then at midday, you will transfer to Arusha Town where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your flight back home.
