3 Days Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha safari is a perfect safari experience for birders as it offers a visit to two excellent birding destinations in Kenya which are Lake Naivasha and Lake Nairobi, these two lakes are found in the rift valley province of Kenya and are habitats to a variety of bird species which you will spot. Birds to spot on this safari include lesser and greater flamingos, great white pelican, Hottentot teal, grey crowned crane, Kenya rufous sparrow, lesser kestrel, jacana, great white Egret, saddle-billed stork, white-fronted bee-eater and many more.

Detailed Itinerary of the safari
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
- Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha: On the 1st day of the 3 days Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru safari you are to transfer from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, after morning breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi you will be picked by your safari driver who will offer you a short brief and then embark on your journey to Lake Naivasha. On your way you will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley where you will enjoy stunning views of the escarpments. When you arrive in the park you will check-in and then heading to the spectacular Lake Naivasha for a 1 hour boat ride, on the boat ride you will enjoy views of crocodiles, hippos, fish eagles ad many more.
- At lunch you will return to your lodge for lunch, in the afternoon you will head to the wilderness for a nature walk on which you will spot many birds. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru
- Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru: On the 2nd day of the 3 Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru safari you are to transfer from Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru, after morning breakfast you will meet your safari driver and embark on a safari heading to Lake Nakuru national park. When you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge and with your packed lunch you will head to the park for a game drive on which you will spot many animals such as lions, rhinos, giraffes, leopards, hippos, waterbucks and many more. On the game drive you will also visit the incredible Lake Nakuru where you will spot a huge concentration of birds including lesser and greater flamingos which create a pink shade on the banks of the lake. You will enjoy picnic lunch and in the afternoon you will go another game drive thus spending a whole day n the park. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Depart and transfer back to Nairobi
- Depart and transfer back to Nairobi: On the 3rd day of the 3 days Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru safari you are to depart from Lake Nakuru and transfer back to Nairobi, you will wake up early in the morning and drive to Lake Nakuru national park for a morning game drive on which you will spot animals such as lions, rhinos, giraffes, leopards, hippos, waterbucks and many birds such as pink lesser and greater flamingos, pelicans and many more. After the game drive you will return to your lodge for late breakfast, after breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and embark on a journey heading to Nairobi. You will reach Nairobi in afternoon and have lunch at a hotel, after lunch you will be dropped-off either at the hotel or at the airport
