Day 1: Arrival and fly to Masai Mara national reserve

  • Arrival and fly to Masai Mara national reserve: On the 1st day of the 3 days Masai Mara fly in safari you will transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara national reserve using a chartered flight, upon your arrival in Nairobi using Jomo Kenyatta international airport. At the airport you will meet your safari driver who will give you a short briefing about the safari then head to Wilson airport situated in Nairobi for your chartered to flight to any of the airstrips serving Masai Mara National reserve.
  • The reserve is served by Angama, Kichwa Tembo, Musiara, Mara north, Ngerende, Olseki and Olare motorogi airstrips. When you arrive in the reserve you will have lunch and in the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive on which you enjoy sights of animals such as wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and many more. In the evening you have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Full of game drive in Masai Mara national reserve 

  • Full of game drive in Masai Mara: On the 2nd day of the 3 days Masai Mara flying safari you are to have a full day of touring Masai Mara national reserve on game drives, the incredible Masai Mara is a famous destination for a being a home to many species of wildlife including the big five and experience the great wildebeest migration. Wildebeest migration is an ecstatic event which happens annually and involves the migration of thousands of wildebeests, Thomson’s gazelles and zebras to and from Tanzania’s Serengeti national park. Wildebeest migration happens in Masai Mara in the period of July to October, through the open roof of your vehicle you will spot many animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hartebeests, elands, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, crocodiles, antelopes, Masai giraffes and many more. The perfect spot to spot these animals is around the banks of Mara River as they come to drink water. 
  • At lunch you will drive back to your lodge for lunch and then return in the afternoon for another game drive, after a whole day of enjoying adventurous sights you will return back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer back to Nairobi for drop-off

From Wilson airport you will transfer to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your departure flight or to your hotel in Nairobi, the drop-off marks the end of the 3 days Masai Mara flying safari.
