Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be meet by our Company Representative – your driver-guide. He will brief you about the safari, then go for a Kigali City Tour visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site, the Crafts Village and the local markets like Kimironko Market.
After lunch, you will start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with border crossing at Kyanika/Cyanika Border and continue with your journey to Bwindi, driving through the beautiful hilly region. Arrive at the lodge in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today we have an encounter with the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Wake up early for breakfast, meet your guide and head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking as well as the dos and don’ts to follow while in the forest. In groups of 8 people you will be assigned a gorilla family to trek, with an armed ranger guide you will enter into the misty forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas.
The trek takes approximately 2-6 hours or more depending on the movement of mountain gorillas, when you locate the gorillas you are allowed to spend one hour in their presence observing their amazing family interactions, watch them play from one tree branch to another, groom each other among others.
Trek back to the park headquarters, meet your guide and head back to your lodge for an evening of rest.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali International Airport
Enjoy an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and bid farewell to the misty forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park heading back to Kigali City with border crossing at Cyanika Border. Your guide will drop you off either at your hotel or at the airport for our flight back home or to your next destination.
