Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and fly to Bwindi

On the 1st day of yorur 5 Days Bwindi And Queen Elizabeth Fly-In Safari, upon landing at Entebbe International park, you will be meet by our representative, complete all the details with the immigrations and get on a domestic flight to Bwindi‘s Kihihi airstrip. Upon landing, our vehicle will transfer you to the park by road.

You may choose to fly to Bwindi on a morning or afternoon flight, morning flight depart Entebbe for Bwindi Impenetrable national park at 07:45 am while the afternoon flight depart Entebbe at 12:30 pm.

You will spend the evening relaxing at the lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Wake up early for breakfast, with your packed lunch you will report to the Park’s headquarters for registration and join other trekkers briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during your gorilla trekking at 7:45.  In groups of 8 people you will you will trek into the forests of Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas, the trek takes approximately 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas and when you encounter them you will spend one hour in their presence. You will watch them play on tree branches, silverbacks protecting their families among others which are similar to human beings, you are allowed to take pictures as long as your flashlight is off.

Head back to the park’s headquarters where you will be rewarded with gorilla certificates, drive to your lodge or to the Batwa community for a cultural experience. Have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

On the 3rd day of your 5 Days Bwindi And Queen Elizabeth Fly-In Safari, Have a leisurely breakfast bid farewell to Bwindi and head to Queen Elizabeth national park through the Ishasha Sector where you will spot the tree climbing lions and other animals such as the antelopes.

You will head to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will have another game drive exploring the park more. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

Have a cup of coffee and head to the Kasenyi plains for an early morning game drive on which you will spot cape buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, elands, lion, leopards, spotted hyenas, chimpanzees, warthogs, waterbucks among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and rest for a while as you wait for lunch.

In the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel connecting Lake George to Lake Edward, during the cruise you will watch many animals such as Nile crocodiles and hippos in the waters and elephants and cape buffaloes drinking water. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5:  fly to Entebbe and departure

On the 5th day of your 5 Days Bwindi And Queen Elizabeth Fly-In Safari, Depending on your flight schedule, you will have breakfast and then be transferred to Mweya airstrip for your flight to Entebbe, upon landing you will catch your international flight back home or to the next destination.
