Ambokili Lodge – Mount Kilimanjaro
Ambokili Lodge is considered to be a mid-range accommodation found in mbirikani along the emali –loitokitok highway and with in amboseli eco system in Kenya. The lodge is situated just 30 minutes drive to amboseli national park and an hour from Mount Kilimanjaro . The lodge is located in the perfect position and convenient to guests with the great views of Mount Kilimanjaro at the backdrop, wildlife and surrounding areas. The park is big covering 3000 square km area in Kenya and across the borders of Tanzania.
You can either be in the park by road or air transport which takes about 240km driving Nairobi -arusha road through Meshanani gate and 228Km on Nairobi -mombasa road and 45 minutes to fly from Nairobi to close airstrip amboseli ,then few minutes to be transferred to the lodge .
Ambokili lodge consists of 7 spacious and comfortable rooms built in African traditional style with natural stones and elegant gum pole structures with modern comfort. Rooms well decorated and furnished with privacy and tranquility. Each room has its own private en -suite facilities like clean flushing toilets , Mosquito nets , air conditioning , Flat screen TV’s , slide windows, hair driers , hot/cold running showers/bathtubs etc .
Rooms have verandas, sitting areas and terraces with a cozy atmosphere , you relax while overlooking the beautiful view of mount Kilimanjaro at the backdrop ,the park and animals visiting the park . The lodge has excellent and comfortable rooms with clean and washed beddings. Rooms are in different categories depending on single, double ,twins and triple rooms. The lodge has fireplaces that provides warmth to clients during nights. Rooms cost 200$ and above per night But prices differ depending on season where in peak season the price goes slightly high.

Amboseli National Park is situated in southern Kenya in loitoktok district in Rift valley province of Kenya lying on 240 km from Nairobi and north west of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park covers the total area of 392 km squared . its known for more herds of elephants and good view of mount kilimanjaro , across the border of Tanzania.
