AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK ENTRANCE FEE (1st January, 2022 to 30th June, 2022)
Amboseli National Park Entrance Fee : Amboseli national park formerly known as Maasai Amboseli Game Reserve is a national park located in Kajiado South Constituency in Kajiado County in the Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya. The park is an iconic paradise crowned by Mountain Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, Amboseli national park is famously known as “Home of the Africa elephant” due to its large herds of elephants with impressive tusks.
Amboseli national park’s beautiful name originates from the local Maasai Word “Amboseli” meaning “Salty dust”.
Amboseli national park is managed by Kenya Wildlife Services, the organization issued new Amboseli park fees operating from 1st January 2022 and end 30th June 2020.

Categories/status of tourists
Fees at Amboseli national park are charged basing on the status or categories of visitors or tours on a Kenya safari to the park.
Students
Students are visitors on a Kenya safari from a recognized education institution that is primary, secondary, government or private college or university. These kind of visitors should be aged 23 years and below and they are to be visiting Tsavo West national park on a conservation purpose trip documented and organized the education institution.
To be eligible for student fees, the institution is required to inform Kenya Wildlife Services in a minimum of 2 weeks so as to issue a written authorization for student rates.

Children
Visitors categorized as children are aged from 3 years but below the age of 18 years.
Citizens
Visitors categorized as visitors are citizens of Kenya and East Africa Community countries (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan), to fit in this category visitors are required have valid national IDs.
Residents
Visitors categorized as residents are foreigners living and working in Kenya with valid resident documentations or work permits issued by the Kenyan Government. Residents are not citizens of Kenya or any East African community countries.
Non-Residents
Visitors categorized as Non-Residents are foreigners or international tourists who do not work or live in Kenya.
