Bird List in Buffalo Springs National Reserve: Buffalo springs national reserve is one of the protected areas in Kenya situated in the northern region of Kenya in Isiolo County, this reserve covers an area of 131 square kilometers lieing in the altitude range of 850 – 1,230 meters above the sea level. Buffalo springs national reserve protects a huge ecosystem including a huge concentration of bird species. 

Buffalo springs national reserve is one of the important birding areas in Kenya habiting a huge population of birds with over 307 bird species, these birds are habited in the semi-arid grassland, riverine forest, and woodland vegetation zones scattered around the park. Birds habiting in this reserve include endemic species, 4 near-endemic species, migratory, very rare, or accidental species.
