Bird list in Ruma National Park : Ruma national park formerly known as Lambwe national park is a great Kenya birding destination located in western Kenya in Suba district close to Lake Victoria, this park is the only park found in Nyanza province. Ruma National Park was covers an area of 120 square kilometers, this park is a classified birding destination famously known for habiting the rare African migrant blue swallow which is the most notable bird species in the park. Generally Ruma national park hosts over 350 bird species including endangered species, vulnerable species, critically endangered species and near-threatened species.
