Birds in Arusha National Park : Arusha national park is a tourism jewel in Tanzania situated in north-eastern Tanzania and situated in a distance of about 25 kilometers from Arusha, the park is a home to mount Meru the highest mountain in Africa and the second in Tanzania, numerous species of birds, wildlife and mind-blowing landscape which is made up of Meru crater in the west, the Ngurdoto crater in the south-east, Momella lakes in north-east and savannah grasslands.
Arusha national park is one of the recognized birding areas in Tanzania hosting over 400 bird species, birds in the park include critically endangered species, endangered species, very rare species, vulnerable species and migratory bird species.
