Cactus Eco lodge and camp is a 3 star mid -range accommodation found on the shores of Lake Elemantaita, 7 miles away from the center of Lake Elementaita, off Nairobi Nakuru Highway in the Close Proximity to Kariandusi Museaum Kenya. The lodge is situated 51 minutes away from Lake Nakuru National park surrounded by acacia trees overlooking the beautiful view of the lake. The lodge is situated approximately 2-3 hours’ drive from Nairobi city center and 50 minutes flight to the close private airstrip. The lodge is convenient for safari adventure especially birding since it’s famous with a lot flamingoes and relaxation perfect base for gateways, romantic dinners to tourists and travellers who want to explore and discover the area with its stunning views, plenty of animals and surrounding areas.
Cactus eco lodge and camp is comprised of over 5 spacious and comfortable cottages overlooking the beautiful views of the lake Elementaita suitable for family or a group built in African traditional safari styling with high level of comfort. Each cottage has mosquito nets , bathroom with hot and cold showers , flushing toilets, free toiletries , chairs and wooden tables , complementary bottled water, slippers in the tents and many more . Each room has large sitting areas, terraces and veranda that give a panoramic view of the lake, gardens and surrounding areas. The rooms have excellent and comfortable beddings with king sized bed. There is a fireplace where fire glows, guests relax as they share stories/ experiences about the safari, it also provides warmth during chilly weather. The lodge offers Singles beds for individuals and double beds/ twins for sharing and family/group rooms with different costs ranging from 200$ and above per night per person, during peak season it goes slightly high than in low season .

Lake Elementaita is kenya’s alkaline lake located in the Great Rift valley, about 120km from North west of Nairobi between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru In Kenya Region .The lake is shallow and surrounded by wooden and busy grass land . The park is small covering the total area of 18 kilo meters squared. The sanctuary offers a variety number of animals like; Impalas, antelopes, Buffaloes, wathrogs, waterbucks, white rhinos, Giraffes, Leopard, enlands, baboon, lions ,Zebra, Wild dogs etc and over 450 different bird species like; Flamingos , starling birds, White pelican etc. The sanctuary is famous for huge number of attracting flamingos and being the soda lake. There are several accommodations in lake Elementaita budget, mid-range and luxury accommodation which are all friendly and convenient to guests’ visiting lake Elementaita sanctuary.
