Kikopey Beach camp is a mid- range accommodation found in Gilgil ju on the shores of lake Elementaita (Home of hundred birds especially flamingoes ) Kenya region. The camp is surrounded by a lot of trees in calm and serene atmosphere , 54 minutes’ drive from Lake Nakuru National park . The camp is situated 120km (an hour and a half drive ) from Nairobi city and 29km from Nakuru Town. The lodge is convenient for safari adventure especially birding since its famous with a lot flamingoes and relaxation perfect base for tourists and travellers who want to explore and discover the park with its stunning views, plenty of animals and surrounding areas.
Kikopey Beach camp Elementaita is comprised of 12 spacious and comfortable tents with luxury and standard tents overlooking the beautiful views of the lake Elementaita and tropical gardens built in African traditional safari styling. There are camping grounds for camp lovers with tents for hire .Each tent is well furnished and elevated to meet guest’s personal fondness with mosquito nets , bathroom with hot and cold showers , flushing toilets, free toiletries , chairs and wooden tables , complementary bottled water, slippers in the rooms and many more . Each tent has large sitting areas, terrace and veranda that give a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding areas. The rooms have excellent and comfortable beddings with king sized bed. There is a fireplace where fire glows, guests relax as they share stories/ experiences about the safari, it also provides warmth during cold periods. The lodge offers Singles beds for individuals and double beds/ twins for sharing and family/group rooms with different costs ranging from 200$ and above per night per person, during peak season it goes slightly high than in low season .

Lake Elementaita is kenya’s alkaline lake located in the Great Rift valley, about 120km from North west of Nairobi between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru In Kenya Region .The lake is shallow and surrounded by wooden and busy grass land . The park is small covering the total area of 18 kilo meters squared. The sanctuary offers a variety number of animals like; Impalas, antelopes, Buffaloes, wathrogs, waterbucks, white rhinos, Giraffes, Leopard, enlands, baboon, lions ,Zebra, Wild dogs etc and over 450 different bird species like; Flamingos , starling birds, White pelican etc. The sanctuary is famous for huge number of attracting flamingos and being the soda lake.
