KIWANJANI ECO LODGE- TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Kiwanjani eco lodge is a budget accommodation (2 star) found in Rukanga set on 5,000 acres of wilderness landscape in Tsavo national park Kenya. The lodge in the middle of the two separate park that’s; Tsavo East and Tsavo West. It takes about 2 hours and half to drive from Mombasa city to Kiwanjani lodge and from Nairobi city Via voi it takes about 3-4 hours’ drive and an hour flight to the lodge. The lodge is affordable for budget guests who want to explore Tsavo National parks with its beautiful view, waterhole where wildlife roam and the surrounded area.
Kiwanjani eco lodge consists of 6 thatched comfortable cottages reflecting contemporary African building style with grassed roofs, local woods and the view of the wilderness. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold running showers heated water by solar energy , mosquito nets, comfortable tropical wooden locally beds with soft ,clean and washed duvets and pillows, solar energy available, chairs and tables in the dining area, free bottled water, slippers mention but few. Rooms have private wooden balcony, terraces and sitting areas, you relax while enjoying the stunning view over the waterhole, beautiful landscape with abundant wildlife and surrounding area. There are fireplaces at the lodge where guests relax especially during cold weather and after a long safari as they share stories. The lodge offers single, double, twin and triple/family rooming options with different costs ranging from 150$ per night and above sometimes the rate goes slightly high during high/peak season than in Low season.
Kiwanjani eco lodge offers more services and facilities which include; A restaurant in the main building with the view of animals waterhole where elephants , buffaloes , zebras and many animals take photos from which gives guests a chance to see different animals serving different meals both international and African- inspired meals that meets guests choice ;Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff ,they also serve bush diners ,

Tsavo national park is made of two separate parks located in Kenya Province between Nairobi city and Mombasa, The Park is considered to be among the largest parks in Kenya covering the total area of 22,000km squared. The two different parks in Tsavo national park include; Tsavo east national park which is the oldest and largest park in Kenya found in the semi-arid areas of Taru desert occupying the total area of 13,747 kilometers squared and Tsavo west national park also covers the total area of 9,065 kilometers squared. The Two park are most visited with different categories of accommodations; Budget, Mid- range and Luxury accommodation that are convenient and affordable to visitors visiting the park.
