Masai Mara national reserve is located in the southern part of Kenya along the Great Rift Valley area and is found in Narok county, approximately 224 kilometers from Nairobi City, the capital of Kenya.

Mara North Conservancy

The Mara North Conservancy is an exclusive and private conservancy with a limited number of visitors allowed to access the area at a time. The conservancy comprises varied landscapes, from secret patches of woodlands to vast wide-open plains. Mara North Conservancy is home to the Big Five and other animals such as wildebeests, gazelles, and elands, among others.

Mara Naboisho Conservancy

Mara Naboisho Conservancy is the brainchild of a collaboration of over 500 Masai families who came together to work towards conserving their land and wildlife. Mara Naboisho Conservancy is a home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, Cape buffaloes, rhinos and elephants.

Olare Motorogi Conservancy

Olare Motorogi Conservancy is the best spot to see lions, as it boasts the highest concentration of lions per kilometers, it is also perfect for tourists who prefer uncrowded places, as it receives a low density of tourists.

During the game drive, you can spot over 50 different species of predators and prey in the acacia woodland, Olare Orok and Ntiakitak River.

Ol Kinyei Conservancy

The Ol Kinyei Conservancy is a scenically beautiful conservancy with grassy plains and rolling hills; this conservancy is a perfect spot for bush walks and visiting the local Maasai people. Ol Kinyei is also a birdwatcher’s dream, as it hosts over 300 bird species, some of the animals found in Ol Kinyei Conservancy include lions, leopards, elephants, cape buffaloes, and giraffes, among others.

Lamek Conservancy

The Lamek Conservancy is one of the smallest and most modest conservancies in the Maasai Mara national reserve found in the Northwest corner of the Mara. Though it does not experience the annual wildebeest migration, it hosts plenty of wildlife, including the big Five: lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants and rhinos.

Olderkesi Wildlife Conservancy

Olderskesi Wildlife Conservancy is a perfect destination for tourists seeking solitude, exclusivity and a high concentration of wildlife during their Masai Mara safari holiday.

Olderskesi Wildlife Conservancy is the most remote of all conservancies, with only one camp with a total of 20 rooms, the most common wildlife species to see in this conservancy include lions, leopards and cheetahs.
