Mara Sokonoi Camp is a mid-range accommodation found along the Oloipili seasonal river under acacia trees within the Siana Conservancy in the Masaai Mara Ecosystem, Kenya region. The Camp is situated 5 minutes away from Siana airstrip.  You can reach the camp by either road or air transport, which takes approximately 5-6 hours (260 km) to drive from Nairobi city center to Maasai Mara National Park, or about an hour to fly from Nairobi to the nearby Siana airstrip, followed by a short drive to the camp.

The camp is convenient for safari adventures for tourists and travelers who want to explore the park with its beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.

Mara Sokonoi camp consists of five luxurious and comfortable en suite tents overlooking beautiful, breathtaking views, reflecting traditional building styles.  Each tent is well elevated, decorated, and furnished with en-suite facilities that include clean private flush toilets, safari-style hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, deck chairs, wooden tables, free bottled water, free toiletries, and more.

Each tent has sitting areas, Private verandas that give a better view over the savannah plains and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with comfortable, clean bedding containing queen-sized beds.

There is a fireplace at the camp where guests relax and share stories about safaris; it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights.  The camp offers tents suitable for families as well as individuals with single beds, double beds, twin beds for sharing and triple beds.

Masaai Mara National Park is among the largest and most  visited parks in Kenya, known for its incredible density and variety of animals. it is  situated  270km north of Nairobi in Kenya, occupying a total area of 1,510 km squared.

There are over 1 million tribes in Kenya; the Maasai are the initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania. Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border.

The park contains over a million animals, which include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos; 600 species of birds; and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.
