Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is situated between Tsavo East national and Tsavo West national park which it borders in Southeast Kenya.

ACCOMMODATION AT SALT LICK SAFARI LODGE

The Lodge offers luxurious accommodation and necessary facilities which make it a perfect place to stay as you explore the surrounding natural environment.

The Lodge features a total of 96 guest rooms, these rooms are unique in style, all elevated on stilts and built across two levels with en-suite bathrooms and permanent showers and WC and running hot and cold water.

Salt Lick Safari Lodge’s guest rooms are spacious (34m2/366ft2) accommodating up to 2 people, these well-appointed double rooms are en-suite and offers guests a chance to enjoy breathtaking views of wildlife from the comfort of your room.

Alternatively you can be accommodated in three levels with double, twin or triple rooms depending on your preferred occupancy.   To add more charm and intimacy, these rooms feature soft and fine linen, huge beds and thick white towel screaming romance. All the bedrooms have mosquito netting and a ceiling fan, these rooms are also equipped with 220 volts, 50 cycles AC, shaver outlets 110/220 volts, 50 cycles AC.

All rooms are overlooking a water hole which gives a chance to enjoy the panoramic views and animals coming to drink water.

Bura Restaurant is the main restaurant of Salt Lick Safari Lodge with a capacity of 150 people, the restaurant overlooks the watering holes, serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking counters, preparing specialty dishes. Cuisines served at Bura Restaurant include   Pan-African, Pan-European and Pan-Asian.

The Lodge  offers experiential dining set in the wide open, this experience include Bush Breakfast, Out of Africa dinner and Picnic Hampers.

Vuria Bar Lounge

The bar and the adjoining shaded terrace are situated above the Bura Restaurant providing spectacular views of the main waterhole and surrounding grasslands. Vuria Bar Lounge is an ideal place to relax and have your favorite cocktail or coffee while watching the wildlife below at the waterhole.

Afya Bora Spa

Afya Bora Spa is named from Afya Bora, a Swahili word meaning Good Health, the spa offer magnificent spa treatments for the guests to soothe, calm and nurture the body and mind.

At Afya Bora Spa massage treatments are offered by trained massage therapists, there are a great variety of treatments to choose from and these include Ayurveda, Swedish and Aromatherapy.
