Serena Mountain Lodge is a luxury accommodation in Mount Kenya national park offering comfortable accommodation to travelers visiting the park for a Kenya safari, Serena Mountain Lodge is located Karibu and lies in 193 kilometers northeast of Nairobi, 480 kilometers from the Kenyan coast and 61.2 kilometers from Nanyuki airport the nearest airport.
This lodge is the only tree hotel ever built on the slopes of Mount Kenya standing at 2,134 meters high, Serena mountain lodge offers a glorious panoramic view of the ancient rainforest of Mount Kenya and excellent game viewing opportunities.

Each dish served at Serena Mountain Lodge is carefully designed to celebrate the flavors, culinary style and the abundance of natural bounty of Mount Kenya national park. Dining at Serena Mountain Lodge offers guests of the lodge an opportunity to enjoy and experience a variety of stunning dinning setting s ranging from the main restaurant overlooking the forest canopy and watering hole, wood-paneled bar with a fireplace for warmth, breakfast in the forest clearing to Sundowner cocktails to dinner diner under the stars on the al fresco rooftop terrace.
At Serena Mt lodge, breakfast and lunch are presented in table d’hôte. Breakfast and lunch features a wide range of international dishes/choices, breakfast in offered in typical safari style with full English breakfast and European options. Lunch is offered with menus including meat, poultry, fish and vegetarian options. Dinner is served with table d’hôte dinner menus featuring a salad buffet, soup, entrée, pudding, cheese, biscuits and tea or coffee. Vegetarian options are also available on dinner menu, the majority of meat, dairy products, fruits and vegetables are bought from the local communities residing around the mountain.

Forest Breakfast
Forest breakfast at Serena Mt Lodge involves setting off from the lodge after an early morning cup of tea and embark on a guided walk through the forests, the guided walk through the forests ends with a full English breakfast served in a forest clearing. Water hole sundowner
Water hole sundowner is a delightful and unforgettable dining experience, this unique experience is filled with African tradition ambiance as it is set and offered above the canopy on the rooftop terrace overlooking the waterhole. From the rooftop you get to view animals such as buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, bushbucks, duikers and many more at the floodlit watering hole in the night.
