Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara national park
- Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara: On the first of your 2 days Manyara and Ngorongoro safari you will have early morning breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, meet your safari driver and embark on your drive to Lake Manyara national park. This journey takes approximately 2 hours and passes through the market town of Mto Wa Mbu, in the town market you can make a stopover and buy some fresh fruits, buy souvenirs and encounter local cultures.
- Lake Manyara national park is a birder’s paradise and a scenic destination with many splendid views, the park consists of Lake Manyara the 7th largest lake in Tanzania and the lake is a home to many bird species such as northern shoveler, greater and lesser flamingoes, yellow billed stork, great white pelican, black-winged stilt, pied avocet, chestnut-banded plover, ruff, little stint and many more.
- When you reach in the park you will go for a game drive and from your open-roof vehicle you will spot animals like wildebeests, zebras, wildebeests, Thomson and grant’s gazelle, bushbuck, impalas. Cape buffaloes, hippopotamus, elephants, warthogs and many more. At lunch time you will drive to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will return to the park visiting the magnificent Lake Manyara, at the lake you will spot many animals and take amazing pictures. In the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer from Ngorongoro crater back to Arusha
- Transfer from Ngorongoro crater back to Arusha: On the second and last of your 2 days Manyara and Ngorongoro safari you will have early morning breakfast, check out of your lodge then depart for Ngorongoro crater for a game viewing experience in the crater, Ngorongoro crater is a scenic feature recognized as the 8th wonder of the world. Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the spectacular tourist destinations in Tanzania and home to over 120 species of mammals including the big five (lion, elephant, buffaloes, rhinos and leopards), the conservation area is a good place to spot lions, hippopotamus in large numbers and the endangered rhinoceros.
- From the comfortable seat of your open-top 4X4 wheel car, as you drive through the crater, you will be able to see many predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, jackals, hyenas and many other animals such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests and many more. As you explore the crater you will have an opportunity to take amazing pictures and at lunchtime, you will have a picnic lunch setting at the hippo pool which is a famous and beautiful spot in the conservation. After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha for your drop-off, while in Arusha you will be dropped off either at your lodge or at the airport for your departure flight.
