Ol-Donyo Lodge – Amboseli National Park : Ol donyo lodge is a referred to as a luxury accommodation situated in the south- western part of the volcanic chyulu hill lying between amboseli national park and Tsavo National Park In Kenya Region. The lodge covers the total area of 275,000 acres of the private landscape in the wilderness. The lodge is convininent and in a perfect position for guests who want to explore the close amboseli national park and Tsavo national park with its stunning views and backdrop of the snow capped Mount .Kilimanjaro (Africa’s highest mountain).
Ol-donyo lodge consist of 6 spacious and elegant suites with 2 bedroom family suites overlooking the rolling plains and Mt.Kilimanjaro that are built in traditional African style with grass thatched roofs , local woods and stones . Rooms are well decorated, elevated with raised platform and furnished with private en suite facilities of clean flushing toilets, inside hot and cold showers , mosquito nets, free toiletries, televisions , wooden chairs and tables , private verandas and sitting areas ,you relax while overlooking the stunning view over Mt. Kilimanjaro , wildlife visiting the lodge especially elephants and surrounding area .
Rooms are well equipped with comfortable clean and washed beddings containing queen and king stunning star beds, you slip comfortably while listening to the sounds of hyna and lions. There are cracking campfires where guests relax and share stories/ experience about the safaris and it also provides warmth to visitors during the cold nights. Rooms are in different categories and sizes depending on single, double, twin and triple/family rooms with different cost ranging from 300$ per night and above, sometimes rate goes slightly high during high /peak season than in Low season.
