Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: transfer to Ol Pejeta conservancy – sweet waters
On the 1st day of 8 days chimpanzee and wildlife Kenya safari you are to transfer from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta conservancy for chimpanzee tracking experience, after morning breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi you will be picked up by your safari driver who will also give you a short briefing and then head for Ol Pejeta conservancy.
Ol Pejeta conservancy – sweet waters is the only place in Kenya habiting chimpanzees in the wild, the conservancy hosts approximately 40 chimpanzees which you will enjoy seeing on a chimpanzee tracking experience. When you arrive in the conservancy you will go straight for the experience, have a break for lunch and resume. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 2: drive to Lake Nakuru national park
On the 2nd day of 8 days chimpanzee and wildlife Kenya safari you are to drive to Lake Nakuru national park for game viewing and bird watching experience, after morning breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and set off on a drive to Lake Nakuru national park. When you arrive in the park you will head to the park for a game drive for sights of lions, black and white rhinos, leopards, Rothschild giraffes and many more. You will head to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will return to the park visiting the incredible lake nakuru for sights of a variety of bird species including pink lesser and greater flamingoes, pelicans and many more. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: transfer to Masai Mara national reserve
On the 3rd day of 8 days chimpanzee and wildlife Kenya safari you are to transfer to Masai Mara national reserve, after morning breakfast you will checkout of your lodge and embark on a drive to Masai Mara national reserve. Masai Mara national is one of the 9 wonders in the world famous for the annual wildebeest migration and high concentration of wildlife.
When you arrive in the park you will have lunch at your lodge and in the evening you will go for a game drive enjoying sights of nocturnal animals like lions, leopards, cheetah s with a help of a flash light. You will have dinner and spend the night at your lodge.

Day 4: full day exploration in Masai Mara national reserve
On the 4th day of 8 days chimpanzee and wildlife Kenya safari you are to spend a full day exploring Masai mara national reserve on a game drive experience, you will wake up as early as 6:00 am and head to the reserve for an early morning game drive. On the drive you will enjoy sights of many animals such as lions, hartebeests, Thompson’s gazelles, antelopes, elands, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes and many bird species most especially on the banks of Mara River. You will return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will go back for another game drive experience, if you are very lucky you can view the occurrence of the annual great wildebeest migration involving millions of animals (gazelles, wildebeests, zebras and elands). In the evening you will diner and stay overnight.

Day 5: transfer to Amboseli national park

Upon your arrival at the park you will check into your lodge, have lunch and rest, in the evening you will go for a game drive for sights of nocturnal animals such as lions, leopards as they hunt for their prey such as antelopes. Day 6: full day exploration in Amboseli national park
On the 6thday of 8 days chimpanzee and wildlife Kenya safari you are to spend a full day exploring Amboseli national park on a game drive, after breakfast you will head to the park for morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli national park is popular for hosting huge herds of African elephant and the spectacular backdrop of the snowcapped mountain Kilimanjaro, on the game drive you will enjoy seeing various species of animals such as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, large herds of elephants, giraffes and many more. At lunch you will head back to the lodge or have picnic lunch at one of the picnic site in Amboseli, in the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: transfer to Tsavo west national park
On the 7th day of 8 days chimpanzee and wildlife Kenya safari you are to transfer to Tsavo West national park, after early morning breakfast you will checkout and set off on a drive to Tsavo west national park. Tsavo national park is a geologically endowed area with fascinating features such as volcanic hills, Mzima springs which is an iconic sight for fro crocodiles and hippo sightings and many more. When you reach in the park you will go for a game drive on which you will enjoy sights of a variety of wildlife species such as buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, lions, elephants, elands, hartebeests and many birds. At lunch you will head back to your lodge and in the afternoon you will return for another game drive, in the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 8: transfer back to Nairobi

After the experience you will return to your lodge for breakfast then checkout and embark on your drive back to Nairobi, in Nairobi you will be dropped off at your residence hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta international airport for your departure flight back home.
